The home is very conveniently located exactly on the #44 bus line, a few minutes away from the University of Washington. The house is walking distance to the Woodland Park Zoo, the beautiful Rose Garden and many new restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Green Lake is a short bike ride away. This is a perfect location for easy travel to Ballard or Fremont.
The shared living, dining and kitchen areas all have breathtaking views facing west of the Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound, the Ballard Bridge, sunsets and the changing seasons. A large deck faces west where you can sit outside with a cup of coffee, relax and enjoy the view. A large bathroom is conveniently
near your room along with use of the downstairs washer and dryer. A gourmet kitchen with double ovens, brand new refrigerator, dishwasher, grill, wolf range, blender, cuisinart, panini press, and many appliances, dishes, silverware and cooking tools are available for your use also. The room is furnished with carpeting, bed, writing area, chair, lamp and shelving, and heater and fan. You are welcome to play the antique piano if you are a musician. As the owner of the home and a native of Seattle, I would be happy to show you around the area. This is a perfect situation for a serious UW grad student, post doc and/or international student new to Seattle. No smoking. No pets. Monthly rent: $950. Minimum stay: summer OR school year. First, last month's rent and $300. damage/cleaning deposit. Currently, we have two American grad students living here and a post doc (all science and social science majors). This is a perfect situation for someone wishing to improve their English.
I have hosted grad students from 14 different countries. I live upstairs on the second floor with my own living area and bath and bedroom. I am a teacher and travel extensively several weeks out of the year.
