I am looking for a MALE house mate to occupy the other bedroom/bathroom in my 2 bed 2 bath apartment.
I have a large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on lease at the Launch (400 N River Rd) through the following academic year, i.e. August 2017 till July 2018. The apartment facilities include a swimming pool, club house, gym, tennis and basketbacll courts. The apartment I have leased is very well lighted with large windows and is very beautiful as it faces the river. All the windows in the rooms have a river view. The apartment also includes a balcony with a river view. This is indeed a very nice apartment to live in. I occupy one of the rooms and I am looking for roommate to occupy the other room and share the rent, living expenses. I am a postdoc with Dept. of Comp. Science at Purdue. I am mature, clean and responsible. I am very respectful of people living around me and I have lived for several years through grad school and postdoc with roommates and have had no issues. Since I am mostly in my work and study, I am quite silent and disciplined in my schedule. I was raised in India and came to the US in 2008. I completed my PhD at Ann Arbor in 2014 and I have been a postdoc with Purdue since 2015. Through my graduate school and postdoc years, I have lived with very good roommates from varied backgrounds and have had very nice friendships and living experience. I am looking for someone who is matured, (not the party kind), cultured and friendly person to share my apartment with. The rent is $420 and this does not include utilities. You are required to pay 1) $35 for application towards the lease, 2) $100 for administrative charges for processing your lease, 3) security deposit of $361. The utilities are split. Water, Sewer and trash total to $25 per month. The apartment is available starting 25 May 2017. If you wish to start on 01 Aug 2017, that also works. You will be paying rent from the time you join in, which is no later than 01 Aug 2017.
