I am Carli, and I live in a house that is on 45th ave NE which is about 15 minutes from the university district. I live here with my sister mckenzie, and we both just recently moved to Seattle from Wenatchee. I will be attending SCCC in nursing and McKenzie will hopefully be attending SCCC on graphic design. We are both currently working.
We are renting our aunt's house. The first floor has its own kitchen, w/d, fireplace, bathroom with two sinks and one shower, living room, two bedrooms and porch. All the rooms have great views of Lake Washington. The upstairs has one and a half baths, fireplace, deck and big kitchen with a dishwasher, living room, dining room, w/d and two bedrooms. We are turning the dining room into a nice bedroom for our friend Kayla who is in thesocial work program at the U/W, so the three of us are upstairs. There is also another girl named Shanda who will be living in one room downstairs. This leaves one room still avalible in the downstairs. So total there are 4 girls living in this house, and we would like everyone to share the entire house.
We have one bedroom that is $650 that is avalible.Utilities, internet, Direct TV are all included. You will be asked to share cleaning responsibilities for the house, both inside and out. There is a $300 refundable move in fee a $40 background check. We need first and last month's rent but the last month can be in three installments. You will be asked to sign your own lease.
A little about us:Carli is 18, Kenzi and Kayla are 19, and Shanda is 20. Kenzi and I have known Kayla since highschool, and Shanda is a recent addition to our house family. We are excited to start getting to know one another, are not interested in drama! Mckenzie plays the banjo and loves to fish and works as a nanny, and I play ice hockey, am a crappy cook (thanks for saving me Kenzie) even though I like to try and am working as aadmin assistant. Kayla likes to bake, and is a lot of fun. Shanda used to teach yoga, she loves sushi, and is a lot of fun! We love to go on adventures and would love to explore Seattle and outlying areas with our new roommates and whoever we may become friends with. Our ideal situation would be a household that gets a long and likes to meet new people, and have a respectful environment, which means cleaning up after yourself, and being responsible to yourself and your roommates. Sorry, no pets and no cigarette use on the premises - landlord rules!
